Etos Partners hosted a Norwegian Trade delegation in Shanghai in March. A variety of businesses in different sectors were visited including a machine tools manufacturer, a joint venture laser systems integrator, a large chain of confectionary stores and manufacturing plant together with an American-based precision manufacturing company.
The delegation was impressed with the breadth and standard of the business environment in China and were also given first hand knowledge of what it takes to succeed in China as well as advice on avoiding some of the common pitfalls. The strong message was that a trusted partner based in China was absolutely critical.
